What a way to wrap up the season!
The girls basketball team defeated Kamehemeha 51-50 today, February 19, on O'ahu to claim fifth place at the HHSAA Championship.
With HPA leading 48-47, Kamehameha hit a three-pointer from the corner with five seconds remaining, up 50-48.
Tayler Wang took the inbounds pass—took a couple of dribbles—and heaved a half court shot as the buzzer sounded. Nothing but net! 51-50 HPA.
A wonderful way for Tayler to finish her high school career ... 27 points and 13 rebounds.
